Tennis Smart realizes the Pro Tour and/or the American university route does not suit everyone. Tennis Smart is proud to announce its partnership with British universities.
As an advocate for the British university system, Tennis Smart is also here to help British juniors who are not ready to go pro and are not interested in moving abroad.
Tennis Smart is thrilled to join forces with many British universities whose tennis programs are not only well-established, but offer a magnificent environment for student-athletes to develop as tennis players as well as adults.

Northumbria Sport has developed a high-performance tennis programme competing in both British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and National League competitions under the brand name of Team Northumbria.

Leeds Beckett University
We encourage all levels of players. Currently, there are six Men’s teams and three Women’s teams. Each team plays in the BUCS leagues and there are approximately ten league fixtures and a Cup competition per team.

The University of St Andrews Tennis Club is continuing to develop very positively and build on its success in recent years. With a membership of just under 200, it is one of the largest sports clubs at the University.

The University of Exeter is home to some of the best sport facilities in the UK with a commitment to Excellence in Sport for all our students. The Tennis Club has 600 members, being one of the largest memberships in the country, with 10 indoor courts and 2 outdoor courts.
